FAQs

Q?

What style of martial arts do you teach?

A.

We teach Tae Kwon Do and Kali. Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art and Kali is from the Philippines.

Q?

Do you accept children with learning anomalies? (ADD, ADHD, Sensory processing disorders, etc.)

A.

Yes. We ask that parents disclose any learning anomalies during enrollment so we can ensure our teaching reflects a child's needs. We are happy to work on a case by case basis to ensure children get any accommodations they may need.

Q?

Do we have to sign a contract to enroll?

A.

No, we don't use contracts tuition is paid monthly. If you can't come for a month you don't pay for that month.

Q?

What options do you have for parents who also want to sign up?

A.

We have a variety of options for parents who want to study alongside their children. We have family classes which allow for parents and children to be in the same class and we also have children only and adults only classes. You can find whatever blend works for your family.

Q?

Do you have any requirements outside of the studio for the children enrolled in your program?

A.

Yes, the most important of which is that students are not to use what they learn in class for anything other than self defense. Instances of fighting outside the school will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
We require report cards to be submitted each time a child tests, along with their essay. We don't bar children from attending classes on the basis of grades, however if we consistently see issues in grades we will address those with the child and their parents.
